Privacy notice

1. Who this applies to

Visitors to this website, people who sign up for a trial or request a demo, and users of the centre back office. For student and parent data held inside a centre’s account, the centre is the data controller and we process that data on its behalf.

2. Data we collect

• Account details: name, email address, phone number, preferred language.
• Centre details: centre name, address, time zone, currency, logo.
• Student, parent and tutor records entered by the centre: contact details, lesson attendance, notes, homework and payments.
• Demo requests and waitlist sign-ups: the details you type into the form.
• Technical data: IP address (used for rate limiting), browser type and error logs.

3. Why we use it

To provide and operate the service, answer your requests, send transactional messages (such as receipts and lesson reminders the centre chooses to send), prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run Tutorkite, such as hosting, email delivery, messaging channels and payment processors. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

We keep account and centre records while the account is active. Demo requests and waitlist sign-ups are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed. Centres may ask us to delete their data at any time.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by contacting us. Under the PDPA, you may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner.

7. Security and cookies

We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. The site uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language choice.

8. Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
